Burning Them 

talks about change.
People tend to resist change;
it can be difficult to accept
even when necessary.
I looked for people
who find themselves in a crossroad,
ready for a significant change in their lives.


I asked them to burn something important,
something that carries memories
that one wants or needs to forget
to be able to move on.
Burning those memories
became a ritual like moment
that I captured with my images,
a kind of rebirth
and new beginning to these people.


Moving on is possible only by letting go of something.
